Two Ways for Your
Phone to Communicate

BLE to Open Doors

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is a wireless technology developed as a power efficient, low-cost protocol for data transfer. BLE is battery operated and transmits data at about 1 MB. It has a maximum range of 30 meters.

  • Battery Efficient

BLE modules use different technologies to similarly search for Bluetooth devices in your vicinity without taking up the same amount of power as the earlier versions of Bluetooth.

  • Encrypted

Genea sends multiple layers of encrypted data for every transaction. It is insanely secure.

NFC to Open Doors

Near-field communication (NFC) is a subset of radio frequency identification (RFID). NFC receives power from the door reader in order to send credential information. Data transmits at about 1 MB per second with a maximum range of 30 meters.

  • Bank-Grade Protection

NFC and Secure Elements (such as Embedded Secure Elements and SIMs) are as secure as payments with a chip bank card. LE modules use different technologies to similarly search for Bluetooth devices in your vicinity without taking up the same amount of power as the earlier versions of Bluetooth. Android only
