Microsoft Entra ID (formally known as Azure AD)
Traditional access control often relies on manual, siloed systems that often fail to integrate with modern cloud tools. Without automation, deprovisioning can take months—or never happen—creating serious security risks for organizations with strict access requirements.
Automate physical access control with provisioning and deprovisioning workflows. Genea’s SCIM integration with Microsoft Entra ID allows admins to add and remove users within Microsoft Entra itself, without ever having to sign into Genea.
Newly on-boarded users will receive an email about how to download their mobile key, and their key will be assigned with their appropriate access rights to the office. Admins will have the option to automatically create active keycards in Genea when a valid card number is received. Automated home location assignments also streamline the process of assigning a user’s primary access location by mapping the home location attribute, eliminating the need for manual inputs in the Genea web application.
The SCIM push-based system treats your Microsoft Entra ID as its source of truth. When changes are made, they are automatically pushed to the Genea platform, ensuring your employee directory is always in sync.
