Michael Wong

Chief Executive Officer and President

Michael joined Genea in November 2011 as CEO and shortly thereafter added the role of President to his responsibilities. Prior to joining Genea, he was Managing Partner of First Beverage Capital, an investment firm targeting businesses in the beverage industry. Prior to First Beverage, Michael spent over ten years as a private equity investor at Leonard Green & Partners, where he sourced, evaluated and structured acquisitions of companies in a variety of industries. He also led the strategic planning, business development and financing initiatives for a number of companies acquired by Leonard Green.

Michal Pasula

Chief Financial Officer and SVP Operations

Michal has spent the majority of his career in the investment banking field. Prior to joining Genea, he was Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he participated in the solicitation and execution of financing and strategic advisory assignments for domestic and international clients in the technology, media and entertainment, aerospace & defense, engineering & construction and healthcare industries. Prior to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Michal was a member of Jefferies & Co., Inc.’s Energy Group. Michal holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BS in economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

 

Ian Douglas

Chief Technology Officer

Ian has gained his experience in technology and software development for over 20 years. Prior to joining Genea, he worked as the Director of Microsoft Modern Applications Practices for Perficient. Over the course of his career he has held multiple positions leading technology teams to deliver business-driven technology solutions. Mr. Douglas has full professional proficiency in Afrikaans and graduated from the University of Stellenbosch.

Thad has more than 12 years of sales leadership experience in technology sales, specifically, Telecommunications, Software, and Data Center Infrastructure, as well as managed IT services.  Most recently he served as Sales Director for Staples Technology Solutions, a B2B division of Staples, that served Fortune 1000, Commercial, SMB, State, Local, and Education sectors.  His unique blend of sales, leadership, and operational expertise has led to significant sales and profit growth.

Robert Vail

Senior Director of Business Development

Robert has more than 10 years of experience selling SaaS, online marketing, demographic and research services that have helped real estate agents, brokers and owners conduct their business more efficiently. Prior to joining Genea, he was President and Co-Owner of Catalyst Analytics. He has successfully executed sales via inside and outside sales with a specialty in real estate research, data analysis, online marketing, software and subscription sales, and social networking. Throughout his career, Robert has developed winning strategies in sales, marketing, operations and business development. Mr. Vail received his bachelor’s degree at Loyola Marymount University.

Brian Haine

Director of Technical Services

Brian has worked as a controls technician for nearly 30 years with knowledge in the IT space spanning over 15 years. Before joining Genea, he held multiple roles in the IT space, including project manager and electrician, along with a service technician for Siemens. Mr. Haine has accomplished operations and organization missions by identifying solutions and successfully enhanced methods by recommending system improvements.

Annie Smith

Annie has spent her entire career building and managing relationships. Before joining Genea she was director of new business development for a call center services company that specialized in Customer Care programs. Annie helped leaders in the healthcare, transportation and consumer products industries build customer care teams that delivered world class service. Annie has been a guest speaker at local colleges and organizations throughout the southwest speaking to how great customer care can impact your bottom line. Taking her experience and lessons learned Annie has been able to build a Client Services Department at Genea that has no equal.
